The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.
SASSA might be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed regarding the significant number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is due to lack of infrastructure SRD at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The company stage developed for intervention encounters a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes status sassa it hard to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
